In Georgia, Democratic candidate for governor Stacey Abrams has fought a spirited campaign against the corrupt Brian Kemp, who has used his position as secretary of state to initiate political investigations against his opponent, engaging in tactics better suited for a totalitarian government than a democracy.

While fending off the GOP’s dirty strategies, she has also endured racist robocalls and death threats. Most recently, a far-right extremist group in Georgia called III% Security Force Intel posted that Abrams is a “flag burning, gun grabbing, socialist bitch,” and suggested that conservatives put their “Guns Up!” if she wins.

She is running neck-and-neck with Kemp in what may be one of the most hotly contested races of the 2018 midterms.
