Among the more interesting revelations from the Colbert interview is Comey’s acknowledgment that there are details involving the Russia investigation that the public has not heard yet.
“Are there things that you know about the Russia investigation,” asked Colbert,” that were happening before you were fired that we haven’t learned yet as a public?”
Comey succinctly replied, “Yes.”

He went on to explain that the FBI actually vetted his book before its release to ensure that he did not include any classified information.
The investigations into Trump’s misconduct have reached a fever pitch in recent weeks after the FBI raided the offices and hotel room of Michael Cohen, Trump’s “fixer.” Leaks indicating that Cohen made a 2016 visit to Prague—which would corroborate a key component of the Steele Dossier—have also added fuel to the fire.
