“Very challenging and unprecedented.”
That’s how Governor Steve Bullock described the wildfires that have been terrorizing Montana for two months. Since flames first appeared in July, approximately half a million acres have been destroyed.
Smoke has clouded over the state, creating an apocalyptic atmosphere and threatening the health of local residents.
