Stating that the dismissal of Robert Mueller “could be the beginning of the end of the Trump presidency,” GOP Senator Lindsey Graham announced a bill Thursday that would limit Trump’s ability to interfere with the Russia probe.
The bill will would require “judicial review” if Trump moved to dismiss Mueller, the widely respected former FBI chief serving as the special counsel leading the investigation into Trump and his allies’ suspicious connections with various Russian interests.
Democratic Senator Cory Booker is working Graham to author the legislation.
