Trumpcare Theft: Senate Healthcare Bill To Leave 22 Million Uncovered

The CBO released its report on the Senate’s healthcare bill, and it paints a cruel picture. The non-partisan office announced that the current version of the bill will eliminate health insurance coverage for up to 22 million individuals by 2026. The bill includes a 26 precent reduction in medicaid expenses as well, directly contradicting Trump’s promise to not touch the popular program.
Reminder: The CBO estimated the final House bill would leave 23 million more uninsured by 2026, so there's not much improvement. https://t.co/ZzGYRKFVw6

The Senate is expected to press ahead with a vote on the bill this week anyway. Whether or not the legislative body’s moderate Republicans jump on board remains to be seen.
