French journeyman player Maxime Hamou has been banned from the rest of the French Open after his misogynist antics landed him in hot water Tuesday.
In an interview with Maly Thomas – a journalist for Eurosport – Hamou forcibly grabbed the interviewer by the shoulder and proceeded to kiss her. As she struggled to get away, the tennis player more aggressively locked his arm around her neck. The video is hard to watch.

As the events unfolded, Thomas’ colleagues in the studio treated Hamou’s sexual aggression with laughter. Unbecoming behavior from media figures, to say the least.
